About the Artist

Spiddlewicken and the goblin queene contemplating outlandish acts ... (mostly bad dancing and singing that'll make your ears bleed...)

Spiddlewicken sprang forth from the cursed pine forests of Ocean County, NJ, known by her human moniker, Kerry. A solitary, hunched, fairy-tale witch collecting dolls and dreams, bones and books, she is mother to two slightly feral goblin children. She continues to dwell in the wilds of her home county after a few attempts to adventure into more 'civilized' territories, crafting dolls and other unique items. Disabled from a young age by rheumatoid arthritis, she found solace in folklore and myth, with an enduring appreciation of the "Other." As an adolescent, this became more pronounced as mental illness reared its head. She now is only a few stamps away from a complimentary stay at a nearby asylum. In her spare time, she enjoys traipsing through the woods, picnicking in cemeteries, and haunting the local library.
